1. Could’ve eased her more gently into the cinematic experience.

   By showing her an old film like, say, The Lumieres’ “The Arrival of a Train (1895)”.

   • My understanding is that didn’t work out so well with the original audience.

     • That was only in the 3D presentation, which was over-hyped by the media to the point where it overshadowed the more widely distributed, and favourably received 2D presentation.

2. Is that Kiki’s delivery service?

   • Isn’t that “Spirited Away”?

     • Yes.
