  1. Wait, What? Who is the present for the archbishop? Balls or no balls? Um. That’s going to take a lot of green screen effects since castrati are outlawed by at least 200 years.

    • Not that long. There’s a recording of the last castrato, made in the 1900s. He was born in 1858 and … operated on, shall we say? … a few years later. He inspired Kingsley Amis’s alternative history The Alteration.
      Is the moustachioed heavy supposed to be a Scotsman in a kilt?
