1. Well, there’s definitely been an improvement in his Maths.

   His Addition, at any rate.

   (and in 9 months, possibly his Multiplication!).

   • The presence in this fictional universe of default sterility thanks to the universal vaccinative makes the last possibility unlikely.

     • So, 50 year’s time – almost everyone’s dead? Bummer.

       • Philanthropic antinatalists would disagree about how much of a bummer that would be, but in any case it doesn’t apply to this fictional world, in which there are special drugs called conceptives that people who want to have children can take. (Remember that the captive Bridget O’Brian was shown as pregnant the last time she was seen, a volume ago.)

         • And Kitty Logan was (briefly) pregnant in Volume 3. (Though that wasn’t exactly a “standard” pregnancy.)

2. I want to write a spin-off series about the horrors that stuffed animal has seen.

   • Horrors?

     • Don’t you know that saying: “One man’s pleasures are another stuffed animal’s horrors”?

       • No. I’ve led a sheltered life, apparently.

     • Weird, I was thinking perversions when I typed horrors. Probably a leftover from my Call of Cthulhu RPG days.

       • The toy could have been witness to more than the recent sexcapades. Gnosis U. has been the stage for plenty of abominations, after all.
