The Siren myth with a new twist?
That’s certainly one possible interpretation.
For Aloysius he’s more willing but for others though…even more terrifying that she may look harmless especially there isn’t any bones near her like they associate Sirens/Nymphs/etc with….but still fits within that archtype in a new creative way, well especially in the original “Little Mermaid” story, she at the end dissolved into foam…maybe this is whole idea comes from that, why not Mermaids instead of eating them, they dissolve others into foam?
