I’m not getting the point of the Taylor stories. Is it ever going to merge with the main storyline?
It’s a part of the Taylor Chase Bildungsroman, the means, somewhere between distraction and sublimation, through which Taylor endures a reality he finds unacceptable in many different ways.
Also, I find it fun to write and I think Lon finds it fun to draw. And since this isn’t a paying gig (at least for me, although it is for Lon) it had better be fun to write.

Another way of thinking about it would be that it stands in the same relation to the main story of the Tales as The Amazing Adventures of the Escapist stands to The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay.
