According to this blog post where the comic is reproduced in full, this artwork is from the bottom panel of the ninth (of ten) pages of the comic Selenia by Sergio Macedo, as the comic appeared in the first issue of Heavy Metal magazine in April 1977:

Heavy Metal Issue number 1, August or September (I forget which, but that is when I saw) 1976…. I will never forget it. So happy to see it posted. I haven’t seen in since 1978, and I can never justify spending the money for the collectible (which is surely is).
