  There’s also a small problem in that your duplicate and you might have a disagreement about which one is the “real” you. Things could get ugly.
  
  Come to think of it, that’s a problem that has come up at least once before in the Tales of Gnosis College.

    Agreed! That was the plot of a flash fiction I published recently. Teleporter becomes duplicator. An army of scientists is great, until it’s time to go home.

  That’s also the plot of the made-for-Lifetime movie More of Me (2007), starring Molly Shannon. But this version is much less “scientific”; her reflections step out of her triple mirror and take over her life. (perfect wife/perfect mother/perfect working woman) And no one else can see or hear the “original”.
