Interesting. This was released before the Germans declared war on the US, or Pearl Harbor. I know that in some US films thinly disguised Nazis were appearing as villains, but I didn’t think about the pulps. I guess it was around this point even pulp writers realized that you didn’t need red cowled minions to generate dread horror.
