Red dresses seem to be very fashionable in The Spider’s world. Does he always rescue the same young lady from Unspeakable Fates, or does he have to acquire a new d.i.d. for each adventure?
In “Slaves of the Murder Syndicate” (February 1936), the damsel in distress is wearing a blue dress and has a different look from many of of the others.
Does this perhaps mean — oh, noes! — that she wasn’t rescued? Crushed to jelly by that giant spiky rolling thing?
