Well, their advertisement does read like they’re promoting a snuff film.
Sometime a young Umberto Lenzi probably saw a still of Panel 1 and took inspiration from it.
The brothers certainly did not do the people they filmed any great service with their sensationalist advertisement.
Perfect Italian, by the way! Who’s helping with the language part?
The Italian here, like subsequent use of foreign languages coming up in “Bait,” is the work of professional translators I commissioned. I wish I knew their names, but unfortunately the various translation services I’ve worked with refer to them only by numbers.
That’s crazy! It wasn’t my intention, in starting this conversation, to self-advertise – but *I am* available as a native Italian translator for hire that you can credit by name, eschewing the middleman, should you need one in the future.
I wish I had known that earlier! I shall certainly keep it in mind for future projects.
(Sorry about the slow response; I’ve been travelling for the past few days.)
