Dr. Honeywood thinks she can do a lot of good in the world under her own power, I think. She doesn’t need a handout.
As much as I would like to think there is really a Dr. Claudia Honeywood, I am more interested whether she will get naked or not, or if She and the other women live inside the squid’s mind and play together naked.
They’re out to get you, Claudia. There is only one hope for escape. Make a swim for it!
Um…
It’s a long swim. Especially with a woman-eating tentacle-beast in the water…
Earlier on the Captain expressed his disapproval of Professor Turpentine’s intentions, so Claudia may not be completely without potential allies on board. However, the presence of internal surveillance video doesn’t look good…
This story’s setting is reminding me more and more of ‘reality’ dating shows…
Well, this and other Fabulae Atroces Fausti stories were written in part as parodies of television genres (e.g. “Dolcetta” was a parody of a certain kind of class-envy cooking show). The principal one intended for Bait was “nature documentary.”
Yes, Claudia. Make a swim for it. Then tell the creature that the boat is it’s enemy. And ask the creature to destory it.
I don’t think Squiddly Killy is interested in talking with human women. :-/
Maybe instead he’s squidly diddly–ing them?
