Is Ashley going to come back into the picture in about 1700 years?
Wouldn’t it be interesting if the Ashley that Doctor no-dick recovered was actually the time-lost Ashley, resulting in a 2500-year ontological paradox (or causal loop), while the original Ashley still lies languishing at the bottom of the Arctic.
I recently read “Darkening Age” a couple of months ago. The journey of Damascius it literally heart breaking. Its hard for me to mourn the fall of Rome when it destroyed the best part of the Hellenic Culture and belief in Reason over Faith through its own actions. At least the various Germans didn’t know any better.
