I don’t think that’s how the tune goes…
Depends on what tune you’re thinking of, but for the tune I’m thinking of I’ve taken the liberty of consulting a published score and that is how the melodic line opens, at least in C-major.
The half note and the tied half note are both b flats. You forgot to put the accidental in .
