BDA #6: Vampire?

From Éditions du lac, an example of a short-lived series called Vampyr, although it looks more like we’re dealing with a mummy here.

A fascination with Egyptology was also a feature of some pulps.

BDA #4: Poppée

A series from Éditions janvier, Poppée may have been very loosely based on the historical figure of Poppaea Sabina, a beautiful and intriguing woman who became the second wife of the Emperor Nero.

The representation of Poppea here as some sort of golden statue suggests to my warped imagination something A.S.F.R.-like going on, although I doubt that the actual comic was that imaginative.

BDA #2: Horror

From Les éditions de Max Canal, a title Horor which is probably adapted material of American, Italian, or Spanish origin.

A naked woman, hooded cultists, and a spooky setting. That will do.
