In Europe, Taylor Chase’s budding pen-friend Karin Bauer sets off on a mission to Moscow in hopes of discovering some old secrets about the mysterious and perhaps-sinister mid-century scientist Dr. Karl Büchner. Back at Gnosis College, Taylor learns old technology and pulp art from old Joe Larson. Medea Feldstein and lover Fatima Fadil continue their weird pharmacological experiments based on the decrypted notes left behind by the neglected mad genius Vernon Jackson, luring a perhaps too-willing couple in as test subjects. Meanwhile, a mysterious someone is engaged in some campus-wide chemical evangelism that will have strange and sexy results.
