  1. Okay, I get the homage to the Robotrix in Metropolis, but where are you going with this? An infernal device to strike into the heart of the Kupler Organization?

  2. Female (now Dead) Taylor Chase gets a new body? Couldn’t the brain implant transmit her personality? (Yes, still hopeful we did not see the last of her.)

  3. Ah Futura. Saw the movie, have on disc, but can’t remember if the robot is ever named in the film. And Marie – the original cinematic tube girl! Have the book by Thea von Harbou, (bought from Forrest J. Ackerman in fact), but haven’t read it yet. Is it decent?

    • I find the book a little bit talky, but that might just be the influence of the movie in which, for obvious reasons, dialog has to be kept at a minimum. Perusing the book (see Ch. IV) one finds that Rotwang often refers to his creation as “Parody.” It’s probably well worth reading for the serious Metropolis fan.
