Ah, remember when 1970 was a futuristic date? No?
Uh, er, I guess I can sort of remember when 1980 was a futuristic date…
1980 was so far in the future. Then it was here. Next it seemed like 1990 came along right quick. What’s this? Turn of the century? Only seems like a short time ago but now it’s over 15 years into the 21st century and OMG soon we’ll be 1/4 of the way to the 22nd century.
By next month we should have flying cars and faster than light space travel…
