My original tumblr post was here. These images associated with the 1927 silent filme Metropolis were first posted on tumblr by Forgotten Futures and come to us via scottpvaughn. The first pair appear to be promotional work for a movies at the Castro theater by David O’Daniel, who has a site here. TThe third image is one of a large series of movie posters by Ken Taylor. The final image is Metropolis by Canadian artist Ron Guyatt.
