He definitely didn’t cram for this exam…
Hmm. I am now curious whether this story was partially inspired by Lovecraft’s “From Beyond”. Admittedly, the Naked Clown Lady looks more visually appealing than what Crawford Tillinghast brought to light.
“From Beyond” is one of my favorites but being the son of an optician, I have always had an interest in characters who can see what others can’t. It is one of my favorite themes and it has been a delight to explore it in a visual medium like comics.
I googled Stephen Nion. No results but there is a Stephen O’Nion.
Heh, I wonder if he got called Onion by his schoolmates?
