If having sex is more important to you than being alive, you might have a problem.
Eliza has an explanation for herself, some pages in. It isn’t one most normal people would find persuasive, but then again I’m not a normal person and neither are most of my characters, come to think of it.
Did you see the movie “Galaxy of Terror”?
I (Faustus) have seen it. I have even written about its most notorious scene and the ratings difficulties it gave rise to.
I suspect Eliza Fanshaw has not seen it. She has been busy.
