Diamond, for example is transparent to infra-red and reflects ultra-violet, so the interior of a pyramid made of diamond wouldn’t be any hotter than its surroundings, but would appear slightly bluer. Just like the shown pyramid.
Not that it’d make much sense in a house of death to make a pyramid out of a material that reduces the naturally-occurring death rays.
