I suppose it beats being turned into a rich, vain woman’s bottled youth.
Not sure I agree with you. The phrase “Fate worse than death” sort of pops up here.
I can see where you’re coming from. Really.
It’s demeaning as all get-out and an insult to whoever she used to be.
But at least as a (hopefully pampered) pet she isn’t a bottled beauty-aid. That seemed an even greater insult – to me.
At its core, this is a horror story…
It doesn’t look like her higher brain functions survived the transformation, so I doubt strongly her realizing being demeaned. It’s a cat with a woman’s body like in the 1963 movie “Monstrosity/The Atomic Brain” Another tribute? That does have a sort of tube girl in it as well.

I remember that movie! Have even blogged about it once or twice, for example here https://eroticmadscience.com/2016/10/24/tumblr-favorite-2559-atomic-tube-girl/ and also here https://eroticmadscience.com/2010/07/23/mad-science-inessential-the-atomic-brain/ .
Jeepers, have I really be at this for more than nine years? Apparently so…
Cat with a woman’s body? Have you seen any of the three anime versions of the “All Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku Nuku” manga?
Nuku Nuku is a Mishima Heavy Industries robot, stolen by her inventor. He finds a dying cat and transplants its brain into the robot.
