INT. SLEEPLESS JOE’S COFFEE SHOP – DAY
JOE
(shouldering into the conversation)

CHARLIE
(glancing)
Oh, hey Joe!
JOE
Hey, Charlie. I don’t like to butt in here but I was standing right behind this — what id you say your name was, Karen? — and I also quite clearly heard her order a skim latte.
KAREN
(getting a bit red-faced)
How dare…
JOE
(extending his hand in mock friendliness)
Hi. I’m Joe Tucker, Ph.D. I work at the pharmaceutical research company down the way.
(shows his messenger bag)

“But.. but.. the customer is always right! It says so in Clause 61 of the Magna Carta!”
Or some equally easily-refutable statement.
“I am satisfied that so little of Magna Carta is left that nothing of Magna Carta is left… and I am reluctantly compelled to declare that Magna Carta is no longer the law”.
