Are these all memorials to women who were “sacrificed” to the Gynophage to gain a desperately needed scientific/sociological discovery?
The ones in Storyboard 213 are erosarts letting his imagination run a bit, but this one and the ones that follow…yes.
So why aren’t the others naked?
Presumably they made different arrangements for their funerals than our protagonist did?
At a guess, because they are shown in their work-places and work-clothes – the environments which made them willing to sacrifice themselves for human – and animal in Sondra Undulle’s case – benefit. Toozie will probably appear in an academic setting.
