Satires was an Elvifrance series with a large number of issues which, perusing them, seem to have covered very variable subject matter. This is one of the more “mad science” of the bunch.

The artists doing this work would generally, er, “borrow” it from any source they thought was interesting. This one seems to draw on promotional art for the 1978 film Coma.
