I’ve long been a fan of all sorts of vintage audio technology, especially radios and record players, but this new development frankly has me concerned.

This reminds me of a bit in either a Simpsons or Futurama episode where a scientist builds a robot to do all the stuff he doesn’t want to do.
The robot ends up winning an award for groundbreaking scientific work because he did all the scientist’s research … and the scientist’s little boy starts calling the robot “Daddy”. In the end, the scientist has the robot fall to his knees and howl “NOOOO~!” at the sky, because he’s too lazy to lament the results of his own laziness.
That Techmoan guy on YouTube should see this. 😉
