If her takeaway from this is that it was lucky she didn’t die before she was able to patch over her mistake, rather than she should’ve avoided the collision in the first place by not making the mistake, then her story should be that either she’ll grow as a person and doesn’t make those mistakes any more, or she’ll get her come-uppance.
