As I find August to be something of a dismal month I’d like to brighten things up a little bit with what is in effect a double pin-up, a commissioned piece by the Argentine artist Dark Vanesaa (now publishing at DeviantArt as *DarkVanessaLusT) which I am calling Tanya Self-Pleasures, showing that the erotic potential of music has penetrated rather deeply into Tanya’s…psyche, a fact which will be of great significance in her future trajectory as a character. The Argentine artist Dark Vanessa has done a lot of work for Erotic Mad Science over the past two years, and she has come up with three illustrations for this year’s Squick or Squee parade. Since it’s the way things work in the Gnosis College world, Cleo and Tondelayo find themselves in peril, and so naturally I had Dark Vanessa do an illustration of it.

You may recall the Study Abroad character Bridget O’Brian from her fetching character designs by Lon Ryden published earlier this week. And you might also recall Argentine artist Dark Vanessa, who did a short manga for me back in January called “Maureen’s Re-engineering.” Figuring two good things might go together, I commissioned Vanessa to provide a sneak peak on the action in Bridget’s story in Study Abroad.
