I believe that this illustration cover a French-language edition of Philip José Farmer‘s (1918-2009) 1968 erotic novel Image of the Beast, though I am not entirely certain. The image is reblogged from this 27 March 2016 post at Infernal Wonders.

I originally blogged this image in this 14 March 2016 post at Infernal Wonders. It’s an orphaned image, as far as my searches have been able to determine.
I originally blogged this illustration, “Cross Species Breeding Program 1,” by longtime friend of the site KristinF in this 14 March 2016 post at Infernal Wonders. This version, kindly provided by the artist herself, is the extra-explicit version that could not appear at Tumblr even before Tumblr went prude or even at the artist’s DeviantArt site. Thanks for the art, KristinF!

We have here a version of the same commission done by Rafael Suzarte and Lucy Fidelis, this time by another longtime contributor to Erotic Mad Science, Dark Vanessa. Her artistic inspiration of the story interesting fits neatly into an advancing narrative.
Naturally, there is a version of the same fictional news story in Spanish:

PAGE 6 (Four panels)
(Note : These panels should be in sepia)
Panel 1: View of the Bride in the water, swimming upright but entirely below the surface (we can just see her as blurry outlines).
CAPTION – PSEUDO-NARRATION (1): The Scelleratini brothers’ film technology might have been primitive, but it captured something remarkable.
Panel 2: View of the Bride, still in the water, with a few tentacles reaching out from the depths to touch her.
CAPTION – PSEUDO-NARRATION (2): It was something like an alien encounter…
Panel 3: The Bride now enmeshed in a roiling mass of tentacles.
CAPTION – PSEUDO-NARRATION (3): …or even a mating.
Translation (3): …ou même à un accouplement.
Panel 4; The surface of the waters. The Bride is no longer visible. A few bubbles are breaking through the surface.
CAPTION – PSEUDO-NARRATION (4): It was an encounter from which one of the parties would never return.
