Pulp Parade #202: Got the drop on her!

This is Spicy Detective Stories for March 1940, this version of the cover found via the Galactic Central Index. It was another one chosen by Lucy Fidelis for a re-creation. Clean version:

Pulp Parade #201: Girl fight!

After March 1937 the quality (if you want to call it that, and I certainly do) of Saucy Movie Tales seems to have tailed off, likely due to the replacement of the great Norman Saunders by someone else considerably less able. So let’s go a bit further afield for our pulp, shall we? Here is the June 1935 cover of Spicy Detective Stories.

I found this version of the cover (one of few) via the Galactic Central Index.

Lucy Fidelis picked this pulp cover for one of her re-creations. Here is her “clean” version:

Pulp Parade #196: Ha! Missed me!

This is Saucy Movie Tales for November 1936, cover (probably) by Norman Saunders. This rather small original was the only one I could find and is from the Galactic Central index.

Lucy Fidelis has done re-creations of this cover as well. Clean:

Pulp Parade #194: Why didn’t Playboy ever run a “Girls of the Guillotine” issue?

This is Saucy Movie Tales for September 1936, cover by Norman Saunders. I found this version of the cover at Pulp Covers.

We have a special treat for you on this issue, the first of four. Longtime Erotic Mad Science contributing artist Lucy Fidelis has done a re-creation for this issue. She has made them in both “clean” and “context” versions. Clean:

The original cover is Saucy Movie Tales (March 1936), and the original art is by Norman Saunders. I first blogged it in a post “Tropical Take” at Hedonix.

We Must Boost the Signal: Concept Art I

We’ll be starting up with another chapter of Commencement on April 1, but in these last days of March I’d like to publish some concept art for a new, non-Gnosis College script I’ve been working on. It’s something a little different, something perhaps in the confluence of genres between erotic horror and apocalyptic science fiction the working title of which is We Must Boost the Signal. Oft-before-published-here artist Lucy Fidelis has done the first illustration I am publishing, in which a young lady named Amy goes out for a swim one summer morning and gets pulled down to a strange and awful fate. For those of you who might be reading the script, it illustrates events at approximately Page 4, Panel Four.

A teenage girl is pulled into dark lake depths by tentacles.

Squick or Squee 2012 IX: Happy Halloween!

Our final entry for Squick or Squee Week this year comes from Brazilian artist Lucy Fidelis, the artist who did Shrinking Stacy, the very first comic ever at Erotic Mad Science, and who has done much excellent work here since. For her entry, Lucy goes straight for hot witch-on-witch action.

Happy Halloween, everyone!

Lucy Fidelis: Cleo Study

The set wouldn’t be complete with a study by Lucy of Cleo Mount, and she doesn’t disappoint with this lush and lovely tropical-fantasy portrayal.

And it’s worth one more reminder, that Lucy is the creator of her own webcomic, Adventure to Nowhere. so if you like what you’ve seen here, by all means click on the banner and show her some much-deserved love.

Lucy Fidelis: Jill Study

Lucy has contributed a Jill Keeney study, as I see it her interpretation of this page in Study Abroad, except that Lucy has seen fit to provide Jill with a few extra…pool toys. I must say I love the way she makes Jill’s eyes match the water.

And if you like this, be sure to check out Lucy’s webcomic Adventure to Nowhere (click on the banner above). I detect some Dean Yeagle among others in the style here, so win.

Update: Sorry about the busted tags, etc., that were in this post. Better now.
