Merry Xmas with a Nanetta & Moira pinup

We’d be remiss here at Erotic Mad Science if we didn’t do our bit to put the “X” into “Xmas,” and happily we have the help of the talented Brazilian artist Roe Mesquita to help us out, channeling warm holiday greetings of Nanetta Rector and Moira Weir from whatever plane of existence they’ve ascended to. And we know it’s mad science, because they’re brought their labcoats (though happily nothing else).

Anwei transformation art by Bokuman

Here in the Northeastern United States we’ve been enduring some rather frigid weather and short, dark days of late.  What better way to find relief for ourselves than to journey to some warm tropical beach somewhere?  Well, we can do that in imagination at least, with the help of the prolific Peruvian artist Bokuman, who’s drawn for us the epilogue scene from The Apsinthion Protocol.

EXT. A BEACH SOMEWHERE IN SOUTHEAST ASIA – DAY

Corwin and Anwei stand on the beach, which is otherwise deserted.

CORWIN

This is very risky of you to attempt, Anwei.

ANWEI

However risky, if there’s even a small chance that Nanetta and Moira succeeded in doing what you think it was they were trying to do, then this has to be done.

CORWIN

Try to re-establish contact with Howard’s species. Get their trust back. See what of Nanetta and Moira might have made through. But do you really think you can succeed?

I have been through many iterations of the Apsinthion Protocol since we first improvised it for that…emergency. My body has absorbed a lot of apsinthion chemistry in that time, and I feel I am beginning to undergo certain…changes that might make it possible for me to survive out there.

Anwei holds up her right hand.

CORWIN

It still seems somehow very uncertain.

ANWEI

I can’t not do this, Joseph.

CORWIN

I agree.

Anwei disrobes completely, folds her clothing, and hands it to Corwin.

ANWEI

I am ready.

CORWIN

Go then.

Corwin kisses Anwei gently on the forehead.

Anwei wades out into the surf, then dives in and disappears.

FADE OUT.

I’ve always greatly enjoyed Bokuman’s illustrations, especially the voluptuous attention he gives to female figures, but what pleases me most about what he has done here is the attention he paid to Anwei’s facial expression and body language. The illustration presents an interpretation of the story, and a most interesting one as well. Anwei has predicted her transformation from a land creature into a sea creature. She has accepted it intellectually. But now that it’s actually happening it’s implications are beginning to come home viscerally, and she is registering a moment of awe, surprise, even fear as they do, even as Anwei is about to dive in.

I think Bokuman is really clear on the concept, don’t you?

Niceman, who’s work we’ve seen many times before, graciously agreed recently to participate in an experiment of my proposing (hey, it wouldn’t be mad science if we didn’t do experiments).  The experiment was an open-ended commission in which, instead of my pulling something I liked out of the scripts and asking him to render it, I asked him to leaf through the scripts himself and pick his own commission.

I think he made an excellent choice.

Do we all recognize this, thaumatophiles?  It’s Gnosis Dreamscapes, and Michiko is about to show off her awesome ability to invade a young man’s dreams.

INT. Monitoring ROOM – DAY

The room has low light, just like the previous room. The opposite side of the one-way mirror visible in the previous scene in the laboratory takes up part of one wall.

In the middle of the room there is an object resembling an illuminated glass bathtub with wires and cables snaking away from it and a few inches of a gel-like substance within it.

WILLIE and PROFESSOR REBECCA WAITE are concentrating on a screen as Michiko enters the room.

(Note: Willie and Waite are the same characters as appeared in Progress in Research)

As Michiko enters, Waite looks up and smiles.

WAITE

Excellent, brisk preparation of the subject, Michiko. Are you ready yourself?

MICHIKO

Thank you, Professor Waite. Give me just a minute here.

WILLIE

Professor Waite was just commenting on how good you are at the job.

Michiko steps out of her sneakers, then removes her lab coat. She is wearing nothing underneath except a push-up bra.

WAITE

Not just any woman could serve so well as a female neural template in the Dreamscape.

Michiko removes her bra and throws a seductive glance at Waite.

MICHIKO

Because I am so amazingly sensual?

WAITE

If you wish to put it that way, yes.

Michiko crosses her arms in front of her chest and frowns at Waite.

WAITE

You disagree, Michiko?

Michiko steps into the tub and eases herself slowly into the gel as she speaks.

MICHIKO

Oh I am ever so sensual.

(squeezes her breasts together before continuing)

It’s just that I never wanted to play to the stereotype of sensual Asian woman.

Waite grins.

WAITE

I am sure you’ll have the chance to shatter stereotypes with what is about to happen. Are you ready?

MICHIKO

Ever so.

WILLIE

Then let the dreams begin.

New Iris art

It’s a pleasure to be able to present some new Erotic Mad Science bespoke art featuring Iris Brockman from her initial adventure abroad:  an interesting moment in her employment in the Club Cuisine (or, depending on your views on the metaphysics of personal identity, her last moment, although obviously she has full confidence in that that’s not the case).

Niceman’s Ashley transformation art

Tireless and resourceful CG artist Niceman has rendered another key scene from The Apsinthion Protocol for me, here Ashley Madder’s sudden and unexpected transformation into a statue, right in front of the astonished Edmund.  Through the magic of a double render, he manges to capture her right in the moment of transition between flesh and stone:

In case you’ve fallen a little bit behind on your script-reading, the scene is this:

Ashley begins to tremble. A fine sheen of sweat appears. She begins to pant.

EDMUND

Ashely, are you feeling alright?

ASHLEY

No, no, stay back. Draw. I want to see you draw, and I want to feel the moment.

Edmund tries to draw. Ashley’s breathing quickens.

(Note: Through the following speech Ashley’s excitement continues to mount toward orgasm.)

ASHLEY

I want you to draw because I want you to put down how beautiful I am so that that can last forever, so that there can be more eyes, eyes throughout history. Eyes looking with longing and saying what pretty boobs, what wonderful nipples, what a lovely belly, what gorgeous legs, what a sweet cunt. Me. I want them to say that about me, not be a good girl. So many people, deprived of beauty to look at…I wasn to give it to them…I want them to have it… I want their eyes on me…I want my beauty to last forever…

EDMUND

Ashley!

ASHLEY

…forever…

EDMUND

(standing up, alarmed)

Ashley!

ASHLEY

…forever…beautiful forever…and…

(crying out orgasmicly)

…my…wish…is…coming…true!

SFX: Ashley’s flesh and hair turn to pinkish stone. Her hands freeze with her palms turned outward, her face is turned upwards, eyes close, lips parted, an expression of ecstasy.

Ashley’s last cry dies away as her transformation is complete.

Niceman’s Moira Encounter art

Niceman has done some more excellent CG work for Erotic Mad Science, this time producing another illustration of a scene from The Apsinthion ProtocolMoira Weir‘s rather exciting inter-species encounter in Professor Corwin’s off-site laboratory.

Readers of The Apsinthion Protocol should remember this being from a scene that starts with something like this:

Two more tentacles, very slender ones, also move through the water.

ANWEI

Try extending your hands slowly, as we discussed.

Moira does so. The slender tentacles move forward and gently brush against her fingertips.

Moira gingerly extends one hand further. A tentacle slowly wraps around the tip of one one of her fingers.

MOIRA

Strange feel. Not slimy or scaly, but sort of…sleek-feeling if that means anything.

The tentacles move forward and begin entwining themselves around the fingers of both of Moira’s hands.

And proceeds, perhaps inexorably to something like

MOIRA

After all…oh…it makes sense…ah..to go…oh my…where the most nerve endings are.

ANWEI

Moira, this is leading…

MOIRA

Yes, yes, yes. I know. And it’s wrong, and it can’t be and I won’t…

Moira opens her legs on the stool. A larger phallic tentacle moves between them.

MOIRA

And I mean I will…I mean…

(moans deeply)

…oh…inside me…

The tentacle thrusts back and forth

And still further thence as Moira has quite the encounter, observed (for SCIENCE!) by Professor Corwin and Anwei, who you can see in the watery background here. I can see no objections: after all, they’re all consenting adults.

Well, maybe the tentacle creature isn’t. Did anyone think of that?

New Apsinthion Protocol art by Niceman

It’s very gratifying, just after having run a ten-post series “on making your own,” to be able to demonstrate a little bit of practicing what I’ve preached, by posting some new art I was able to commission from Niceman.

The scene should be familiar — Li Anwei and Professor Corwin providing Nanetta Rector with a very convincing demonstration of the viability of a functionalist theory of mind in action, via the apsinthion protocol.   If you’ve read the script, you might recall:

The rise of the fluid continues to the point where it has reached Anwei’s abdomen. She has disappeared up to her mid thigh.

NANETTA

What is going on here? What is happening to Anwei?

CORWIN

(mildly)

What is going on here is perfectly safe.

The fluid has reached up to Anwei’s breasts, and Anwei has vanished up to her crotch.

Sound of a loud CRY from Anwei, muffled by the tube.

NANETTA

She is in pain!

CORWIN

Cries like that might indicate…something rather the opposite of pain.

NANETTA

This is insane! Stop this! Stop this right now?

CORWIN

But My dear Miss Rector, didn’t you hear? To stop this now would risk death to Anwei.

Nanetta rushes up to the tube and pounds on its sides with her fists.

NANETTA

Anwei! Anwei!

What is left of Anwei pays no attention to Nanetta.

That was fun to write, but even so, the gratification was considerably heightened by being able to see it in an explicit visual realization.  Niceman may modestly describe himself as “just a farmboy nerd” over at Deviant Art, but he has a deft hand with rendering software and very much the right sort of vision for thaumatophile art, as the result above shows.  So if you like what you see, by all means pay him a visit over at Deviant Art or, if you’re a subscriber, at Renderotica.  You’ll be glad you did.

New Marie art by Russkere

For some time I’ve followed with pleasure the art of Russkere at Renderotica and at his own blog.  Interesting stuff there, including vore, tentacles and cheerleaders (paging Gregg Easterbrook!) in, er, compromising and problematical situations.  After a while, I decided to take the plunge and offer a commission for original artwork — something I like to do, resources permitting.  Since I was working at the time on a Gnosis College storyline in which the abduction of Marie was a key plot point, I decided on two illustrations of such.  Here are Russkere’s interpretive renderings (click on the images for larger versions).  Marie pursued by the sphere:

Russkere’s style gives a comic feel to the events that happen here which perhaps we can appreciate, even if Marie (and, of course, Taylor) cannot.

New art for Erotic Mad Science

You might have noticed a few minor design changes here at EroticMadScience lately, as I’ve decided to go a level or so deeper in indulging my inner weirdness and commission art with an appropriate mad science theme.  (It’s always a good day, really, when you can spare something that’s merely money and get art in exchange.)  Most readily recognizable (since she now appears in the header bar as a sort of presiding spirit for the site) is this:

Yes, it’s the Maschinenmensch from Fritz Lang‘s Metropolis, at a critical moment in her transformation into a virtual Maria.  Albeit done a little more explicitly than might have been possible for the big screen in 1927.

The artist who created this image is Hugo Araújo, working for Glass House Graphics.  [Faustus May 11, 2018: The original link for Hugo is dead, but there is a modest gallery of his work to be found here, and he has a blog here and a DeviantArt site here.] And I must say, if you ever want to do bespoke fantasy art of your own, I can recommend these folks highly.  They’re creative and they’re fun and a joy to work with.

Of course, where would robot Maria be without her mad scientist creator, also rendered for me by Hugo:
