Consistent with my attempts to practice what I preach around here at Erotic Mad Science, I’ve spent time commissioning original artwork for the site and the various texts found hereupon. Since all the art on this page is make custom to my own specifications I call it the Bespoke Art Gallery.
You can access Erotic Mad Science’s bespoke art either by clicking on the thumbnails above or just by scrolling down the page. If you click on the images to the left you can access full-size images. Each image should also have the following information to its right.
- Artist. The name of the artist who created the work, either the artist’s real name or the name they publish most of their work under. Where the artist has a site I will try to hyperlink to it.
- Accession Date. The date th art first appeared at Erotic Mad Science.
- Presentation Post. Bespoke art at Erotic Mad Science will generally appear in a post on the main page. You can find the title of the post here. The title will be hyperlinked to the post.
- Referring Script. Much of the art I commission illustrates scenes or concepts from fiction I wrote for Erotic Mad Science. Where this is the case, I shall provide the name of the script and a hyperlink to where the scene appears.
- Notes. Any other information about the art that I think might be of interest to readers.
Unless I specifically note otherwise, bespoke art at Erotic Mad Science is available under a Creative Commons license, like the one below.
This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
In other words, even though I commissioned and paid for this art, I think it’s great if it circulates far and wide. So feel free to copy it and put it up on your own site. The only thing that I ask is that you attribute it properly, indicating the artist and a link back here to Erotic Mad Science.
I hope you enjoy the art here. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to get in touch with me through the “Contact Dr. Faustus” page.
Artist: Hugo da Cunha Araújo
Accession Date: June 27, 2010
Presentation Post: New art for Erotic Mad Science
Referring Script: None. This work was done for the site in general.
Notes: This image is a version of the transformation scene moment from Metropolis in which the mad scientist Rotwang transfers the image — and apparently much of the memory — of Maria onto his robot. It’s a breathtaking scene even in the original silent movie. I asked if Hugo could sex it up a bit, and he sure did. You can see part of the image in the title bar of every page here at Erotic Mad Science.

Presentation Post: New art for Erotic Mad Science
Referring Script: None. This work was done for the site in general.
Notes: And here is the mad scientist Rotwang himself, making the transformation happen. This commission was done by Hugo as part of a matched set of illustrations. You probably won’t see it on the site except in the presentation post, but those of you who have corresponded with me know it does appear in my HTML e-mail signature.
Artist: Russkere
Accession Date: September 10, 2010
Presentation Post: New Marie art by Russkere
Referring Script: Commencement
Notes: This image is a Gnosis College coed in rather deep trouble: Marie, about to be abducted for the benefit of the Kupler organization. She’s being chased by something that resembles “Rover” from the old TV series The Prisoner.
Artist: Russkere
Accession Date: September 10, 2010
Presentation Post: New Marie art by Russkere
Referring Script: Commencement
Notes: This image is paired with Russkere’s other image. Maria has now been captured. Lilith the Cat, who had originally belonged to Dr. Strangeways before Strangeways’s rather abrupt and mysterious disappearance, interacts curiously with the scene.
Artist: Niceman
Accession Date: October 1, 2010
Presentation Post: New Apsinthion Protocol art by Niceman
Referring Script: The Apsinthion Protocol
Notes: Niceman CG rendered for me the scene in my head that started it all: Anwei orgasmically dissolving away in the Apsinthion Protocol device, a process watched in horror by Nanetta Rector, who doesn’t realize that Anwei can be reconstituted.
Artist: Niceman
Accession Date: October 10, 2010
Presentation Post: Niceman’s Moira Encounter art
Referring Script: The Apsinthion Protocol
Notes: Niceman’s CG render of Moira Weir’s exciting first encounter with, well, whatever it is.
Artist: Niceman
Accession Date: November 1, 2010
Presentation Post: Niceman’s Ashley transformation art
Referring Script: The Apsinthion Protocol
Notes: This is Niceman’s rendering of Ashley Madder’s transformation into a statue. I must say he did good work with the necessary double-render to show the process.
Artists: Hitori, ZEO, & Kurohoshi
Accession Date: November 18, 2010
Presentation Post: New Iris art
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: Hitori and friends here rendered a becoming image of an important (or terminal) moment in Iris Brockman’s life. (Some ambitious students will do anything to get a job!)
Artist: Niceman
Accession Date: December 4, 2010
Presentation Post: Michiko art by Niceman
Referring Script: Gnosis Dreamscapes
Notes: This post was the outcome of an unusual experiment in placing a commission, in which I invited Niceman to pick his own subject out of the Gnosis College parascript material and render that. He chose this one, of Michiko Maeda settling into a nice warm tub of sensory gel, from which she is going to invade the dreams of the sleeping experimental subject behind her.
Artist: Bokuman
Accession Date: December 19, 2010
Presentation Post: Anwei transformation art by Bokuman
Referring Script: The Apsinthion Protocol
Notes: This illustration comes from the closing scene of The Apsinthion Protocol, in which Li Anwei is about to transform into some sort of aquatic creature and attempt find out how — if in any way — Nanetta Rector and Moira Weir might have survived their own transformations. I love the look of awe and fear that Bokuman gave to Anwei’s expression as she begins to change.
Artist: Roe Mesquita
Accession Date: December 25, 2010
Presentation Post: Merry Xmas with Nanetta & Moira pinup
Referring Script: The Apsinthion Protocol (generally)
Notes: This illustration was done just to have something bright and cheery to post on Christmas. It doesn’t depict an actual scene that happens anywhere in the Gnosis College parascript material; it just deploys two of its principal characters to (I hope) good advantage. The lab coats (and nothing else) are there to provide the appropriate mad science seasoning.
Artist: Lucy Fidelis
Accession Date: December 27, 2010
Presentation Post: Shrinking Stacey: Page One
Referring Script: “Shrinking Stacey” dedicated script
Notes: This is the first page of the first short comic script I ever attempted to write, a mad-science “shrinking woman” scene. It’s not directly a part of any larger Gnosis College story (yet) but it does seem to fit into the Gnosis College fictional universe.
Artist: Lucy Fidelis
Accession Date: December 28, 2010
Presentation Post: Shrinking Stacey: Page Two
Referring Script: “Shrinking Stacey” dedicated script
Notes: Stacey’s story continues, wherein she shows adventurous spirit (and questionable judgment) in going through with Professor Oddbol’s little (ahem) demonstration.
Artist: Lucy Fidelis
Accession Date: December 29, 2010
Presentation Post: Shrinking Stacey: Page Three
Referring Script: “Shrinking Stacey” dedicated script
Notes: And, as is so often the case when you play around with mad science stuff, Stacey ends up in a rather problematical situation.
Artist: Dark Vanessa
Accession Date: January 10, 2011
Presentation Post: Maureen’s Re-engineering: Page One
Referring Script: Invisible Girl, Heroine
Notes: This is the first page in a two-page manga done by Dark Vanessa illustrating Maureen Creel’s attempt to re-create (or really, steal) Professor Johnson’s invisibility technology. It doesn’t necessarily go so well at first…
Artist: Dark Vanessa
Accession Date: January 11, 2011
Presentation Post: Maureen’s Re-engineering: Page Two
Referring Script: Invisible Girl, Heroine
Notes: But Maureen, like any dedicated engineer, knows that testing, trying, and re-trying are all necessary to make technology work. There are many failures before success, but in the end, persistence is indeed rewarded….
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: January 17, 2011
Presentation Post: Maureen in Strangeways’s clutches
Referring Script: Invisible Girl, Heroine
Notes: Maureen plays a gambit against Strangeways and succeeds. Her achievement of what she describes as “the biggest fecking orgasm of her life” is only part of the plan. KristinF captures the moment at which mad scientist Strangeways realizes that sticking the captive Maureen into his machine might not have been a very good idea…

Presentation Post: Apsinthion II: Page One
Referring Script: The Apsinthion Protocol
Notes: Lon Ryden here illustrates the first of a five-page micro-comic in which three of our Apsinthion Protocol heroines are getting busy helping Professor Corwin set up another of his…experiments..
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: January 19, 2011
Presentation Post: Apsinthion II: Page Two
Referring Script: The Apsinthion Protocol
Notes: The mad science gets underway as Anwei works, Moira reflects, Corwin pontificates and…where’s Nanetta?
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: January 20, 2011
Presentation Post: Apsinthion II: Page Three
Referring Script: The Apsinthion Protocol
Notes: Nanetta showing that she’s not at all shy, at least when it’s for science.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: January 21, 2011
Presentation Post: Apsinthion II: Page Four
Referring Script: The Apsinthion Protocol
Notes: The mad science continues, as Nanetta shows that she’s not just bold, she’s brave.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: January 22, 2011
Presentation Post: Apsinthion II: Page Five
Referring Script: The Apsinthion Protocol
Notes: The conclusion of the Apsinthion II micro comic. Happily for Nanetta, Corwin knows how to reconstitute liquid girl.
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: January 31. 2011
Presentation Post: New Marie Art I: Decanting Marie
Referring Script: Commencement
Notes: Marie has been abducted by the sinister Kupler organization and transported as a tube girl to a mysterious location. She is destined for a life as a pleasure slave…maybe. Here, at the end of her journey, she’s being decanted from her tube into a nice bath, which three bathing slaves are preparing to give her.
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: February 1, 2011
Presentation Post: New Marie Art II: Bound in the Wheel
Referring Script: Commencement
Notes: Having been bathed, Marie is rolled out to be put on display. She’s literally bound to a wheel and rolled along, an experience likely to induce a keen sense of helplessness and disorientation, which is just the way the Kupler organization wants it. Naturally she’s rolled along by two well-endowed slaves, a hint of what’s to come for her.
Artist: Niceman
Accession Date: February 7, 2011
Presentation Post: Mad Science Anniversary!
Referring Script: None in particular. This illustration was commissioned especially for the occasion.
Notes: This illustration was commissioned from Niceman for the special occasion of Erotic Mad Science’s first anniversary. I wanted something that was both symbolic of birth and of mad science, and so came up with this concept. A mad scientist is making a “chimera,” an amalgam of two existing women (“Thauma” and “Philia”) as seen in the tubes. The resulting woman will have the skills and memories of both her antecedents….at their own independent existences. Nothing great comes without sacrifice….
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: February 18, 2011
Presentation Post: Willie and Rayna Dungeon Sequence I
Referring Script: Progress in Research
Notes: With a little help from his friend Aloysius, Willie managed to break into the indoor pool at Mary Magdalene College, wherein he found comely Rayna enjoying a naked swim. Frolics ensued, but the nuns who ran Mary Magdalene were less than amused.
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: February 19, 2011
Presentation Post: Willie and Rayna Dungeon Sequence II
Referring Script: Progress in Research
Notes: Don’t mess with nuns! Willie and Rayna are captured by the Mother Superior (she of the dreaded ruler) and two of her minions. They are hooded and about to be led off to…
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: February 20, 2011
Presentation Post: Willie and Rayna Dungeon Sequence III
Referring Script: Progress in Research
Notes: The nuns have a dungeon, of course. They’ve been reading their classical European pornography and therefore know what’s required. Here Willie and Rayna are bound just apart and taunted by the Mother Superior and her ruler. She appears to be suggesting here that Willie doesn’t really measure up.
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: February 21, 2011
Presentation Post: Willie and Rayna Dungeon Sequence IV
Referring Script: Progress in Research
Notes: In the end Willie and Rayna pay the price of would-be voluntary fornication, which is forced fornication made possible by the nuns’ elaborate electrically operated bondage apparatus. The Mother Superior shows an unusual approach to operating the controls.
Artist: Niceman
Accession Date: March 24, 2011
Presentation Post: Steampunk Chimera Genesis
Referring Script: None in particular. This illustration is a variant on a the purpose-commissioned illustration Chimera Genesis.
Notes: Even in the Victorian era, there was no mad science without sacrifice. In this illustration, based on an idea suggested by Niceman, we have the prequel to the theme of two women being made into one in a mad science experiment, but this time in a Steampunk setting. I guess Gnosis College always attracted the weird.
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: March 25, 2011
Presentation Post: Edith Sterling’s Transformation Begins
Referring Script: Teuthology
Notes: Professor Edith Sterling participates — as a volunteer — in a mad science experiment that will turn her into an octopus. Along the way, she gets into a very fetishy situation….
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: April 27, 2011
Presentation Post: Tentacle Fantasia
Referring Script: The Apsinthion Protocol (Indirectly)
Notes: An imagined scene set “somewhere in the South Seas,” where an expedition of sorts encounters a seafloor nest of tentacles, and various fetishy things happen.
Artists: Niceman and Asian Dyna
Accession Date: May 8, 2011
Presentation Post: Dynawash by Niceman and Asian Dyna
Referring Script: Gnosis Dreamscapes
Notes: This is an unprecedented image in the Bespoke Art Gallery, because it combines live-action posing by blogger and model Asian Dyna with the 3D work of Niceman. Dyna is acting out a scene in a film-within-a-film in which a pretty girl alleged to have hygiene issues is sucked up into a robot washing machine.
Artists: Niceman and Asian Dyna
Accession Date: May 30, 2011
Presentation Post: Dynawash, alternate version
Referring Script: Gnosis Dreamscapes
Notes: An alternate version of the Dynawash image, one that has more of a sense of Asian Dyna being moved along some sort of conveyor and washed in stages — the inspiration was Ursula Andress being decontaminated in Dr. No. As with its predecessor, this was made with Dyna as a model and Niceman creating the mad-science CG environment for her.
Artists: Niceman and Asian Dyna
Accession Date: June 30, 2011
Presentation Post: Mad Science Steampunk Tavern
Referring Script: None. This was a custom commission.
Notes: This image involves many poses for Asian Dyna, set in a mad science steampunk tavern environment arranged by Niceman. We see her as a shrunken woman, a bee girl (or perhaps wasp woman) to be, a tube girl (possibly being distilled into something potable and delectable!) and as the girl in the portrait over the bar.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: September 4, 2011
Presentation Post: Study Abroad teaser I: Bridget O’Brian character design
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: These are character design images for Bridget O’Brian, one of four Gnosis College coeds to take part in a bet that she could have the most unusual, adventurous time doing study abroad of the group. Given that she manages to be dressed up as a harem girl here, I’d say she was a strong contender to win.
Artist: Dark Vanessa
Accession Date: September 9, 2011
Presentation Post: Study Abroad teaser II: Bridget O’Brian in action
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: Dark Vanessa illustrates a key scene from Bridget O’Brian’s adventurous study abroad. Bridget dances, complete with a Rudolph Valentino-looking sultan and a harem girl costume.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: September 11, 2011
Presentation Post: Study Abroad teaser III: Cleo Mount and Tondelayo character designs
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: This is a character design for Cleo Mount, another young woman in the Study Abroad quartet of student adventurersses. Cleo is a biology major who goes to a remote Southeast Asian rainforest to look for useful botanicals and finds something altogether stranger.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: September 11, 2011
Presentation Post: Study Abroad teaser III: Cleo Mount and Tondelayo character designs
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: Tondelayo is a girl Cleo Mount meets in the Borneo rainforest. Neither she nor any other of her people ever wears anything more than the sirat-style loincloth she’s shown wearing here. Her people also has some rather unusual customs, as Cleo will find out.
Artist: Dark Vanessa
Accession Date: September 16, 2011
Presentation Post: Study Abroad teaser IV: Cleo and Tondelayo in trouble
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: Dark Vanessa illustrates a scene from Cleo Mount’s adventure in the rainforests of North Borneo. Sensitive viewers might ask, “How on earth did these two young women get into this bizarre situation. And how are they going to get out of it?
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: September 18, 2011
Presentation Post: Study Abroad teaser V: Jill Keeney character design
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: Lon Ryden’s character design for Jill Keeney, an athlete and budding political scientist. I think she actually wears both these outfits in the course of her adventures abroad, and also that the shirt she’s wearing is the first appearance in a published illustration using the Gnosis College athletics logo, also designed by Lon.
Artist: Dark Vanessa
Accession Date: September 23, 2011
Presentation Post: Study Abroad teaser VI: Jill Keeney in training
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: A Dark Vanessa illustration of pretty blond coed-athlete Jill Keeney in “training” during her time in the troubled Republic of Monte Blanco. What is she in training for? It certainly doesn’t look very conventional…
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: September 25, 2011
Presentation Post: Study Abroad teaser VII: Iris Brockman character design
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: Lon Ryden’s design for Iris Brockman, a philosophy major at Gnosis College who is undertaking the strange business of going to Japan to do her study abroad, because she thinks of it as a supreme intellectual challenge to lose and then find herself again in a strange place.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: September 29, 2011
Presentation Post: Study Abroad teaster VIII: Emil Strangeways character design
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: Lon Ryden’s design for Emil Strangeways, Ph.D., the mad scientist whose questionable research lies behind the adventures of the four heroines in Study Abroad. Lon has designed him with a look suitable to his twisted nature.
Artist: Dark Vanessa
Accession Date: September 30, 2011
Presentation Post: Study Abroad teaser IX: Iris Brockman in the tank
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: Dark Vanessa provides a teaser illustration for Iris Brockman’s adventures in Japan. What’s she doing swimming around in that glass tank? Should we be worried about the hungry look some of those patrons have?
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: September 30, 2011
Presentation Post: Study Abroad teaser X: Helga Kupler character design
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: Lon Ryden came up with a strong design for Helga Kupler, a “businesswoman” who will make Bridget O’Brian a very interesting offer during the course of Bridget’s study abroad.
Artist: AmourVorer
Accession Date: November 13, 2011
Presentation Post: Sunday Special: Undersea Surrender
Referring Script: The illustration is part of a larger mad-science vore project, of which the only published part at the time of accession was Cassandra’s Sacrifice (V.1)
Notes: AmourVorer created this image on commission: a luscious young woman swims under the sea an feeds herself to some sort of curious squid-like (or Lovecraftian, if you prefer) beast. It is apparently an ecstatic experience for her.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: February 14, 2012
Presentation Post: Aloysius Kim Character Study
Referring Script: Progress in Research
Notes: Lon’s design for Aloysius Kim, one of the main protagonists in Progress in Research. Aloysius is a bit of a stereotypical nerd at first — strong at technology, weak at romance.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: February 15, 2012
Presentation Post: Maureen Creel Character Study
Referring Script: Progress in Research
Notes: Lon’s design for Maureen Creel. an undergraduate major in physics at Gnosis, and a loyal to many — Aloysius Kim especially.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: February 16, 2012
Presentation Post: Rebecca Waite Character Study
Referring Script: Progress in Research
Notes: Lon’s design for Professor Rebecca Waite, another on of Gnosis College’s resident mad psychologists, who has a penchant for the use of not-quite-properly-tested drugs with hypnosis.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: February 17, 2012
Presentation Post: Willie Newman Character Study
Referring Script: Progress in Research
Notes: Lon’s design for Willie Newman, who might be built like a jock, but is actually on the nerd side of things, a staunch friend to both Aloysius and Maureen, and an easygoing, sexually adventurous hedonist at the same time.
It was Lon’s idea to dress him in Professor Waite’s underthingies. The reason why becomes clear in the course of the story of Progress in Research.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: February 18, 2012
Presentation Post: Michiko Maeda Character Study
Referring Script: Progress in Research
Notes: Not the same as the actress of the same name (though she’s perhaps a worthy inspiration) Michiko plays only a very small part in Progress in Research, but she becomes a formidable player in the Gnosis College fictional universe later on, so I had Lon work up a design. Also, she’s fun to look at, right?
Artist: Lucy Fidelis
Accession Date: February 19, 2012
Presentation Post: Lucy Fidelis: Iris Study
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: Lucy Fidelis does a study of Iris Brockman, getting nice and sudsy in the shower. Iris is preparing, perhaps, for a really clean scan. Given that it’s what her survival depends on, she should want it to be as clean as possible.
Artist: Lucy Fidelis
Accession Date: February 20, 2012
Presentation Post: Lucy Fidelis: Bridget Study
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: Here Lucy does a study of Bridget O’Brian as a harem girl in the throes of the danse du ventre. It would seem that by this point Bridget has figured out where it is that the dance comes from.
Artist: Lucy Fidelis
Accession Date: February 21, 2012
Presentation Post: Lucy Fidelis: Jill Study
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: This is Lucy Fidelis’s study of Jill Keeney, relaxing on a floating raft in a cool blue pool (that matches her cool blue eyes), as she plays out her role in a honeytrap scenario. The presence of many toys suggests part of the reason why Jill can be so relaxed.
Artist: Lucy Fidelis
Accession Date: February 23, 2012
Presentation Post: Lucy Fidelis: Cleo Study
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: Lucy Fidelis’s study of Cleo Mount, bathing in a lush tropical landscape, in which she is the stuff that dreams are made of, curvy as a Chola bronze.

Accession Date: February 23, 2012
Presentation Post: Tales of Gnosis College promotional poster
Referring Script: None — this is a general promotional poster.
Notes: A promotional poster commissioned from Lon Ryden to be used to try to get more readers for the Tales of Gnosis College — something that would be easier if I could write as well as Lon can draw!
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: February 25, 2012
Presentation Post: Goo Girl Genesis #1
Referring Script: Purpose-written comics microscript, “Goo Girl Genesis.”
Notes: The first panel of a micro-comic set in the Gnosis College fictional universe and executed in CG art. A coed, named Lucy, shows up at the laboratory of one Dr. Urulchek to participate in an experiment. Dr. Urulchek’s assistant, Bettina, waits in the background.
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: February 25, 2012
Presentation Post: Goo Girl Genesis #2
Referring Script: Purpose-written comics microscript, “Goo Girl Genesis.”
Notes: As with so many “science” experiments that take place in the world of Gnosis College, it is expected that things will go best if the subject is naked. Fortunately for science, Lucy is only a little bit shy about this.
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: February 26, 2012
Presentation Post: Goo Girl Genesis #3
Referring Script: Purpose-written comics microscript, “Goo Girl Genesis.”
Notes: Also conforming to the great visual tradition of mad science, Lucy is sealed inside a tube so that the mad science can really get underway.
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: February 27, 2012
Presentation Post: Goo Girl Genesis #4
Referring Script: Purpose-written comics microscript, “Goo Girl Genesis.”
Notes: In a procedure reminiscent of Invasion of the Bee Girls, Lucy is encased in a pillar of green goo and zapped with various forms of mysterious and powerful-looking energy.
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: February 28, 2012
Presentation Post: Goo Girl Genesis #5
Referring Script: Purpose-written comics microscript, “Goo Girl Genesis.”
Notes: As a result of all the goo and all the radiation, Lucy appears to be undergoing some sort of dramatic transformation. But into what?
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: February 29, 2012
Presentation Post: Goo Girl Genesis #6
Referring Script: Purpose-written comics microscript, “Goo Girl Genesis.”
Notes: Lucy’s transformation is into a goo girl, a sort of living, human-shaped jelly with abundant erotic possibilities. (Also, the first one I know of depicted outside of an anime/manga context.) Urulchek punches the air in triumph.
Artist: Felox08
Accession Date: April 5, 2012
Presentation Post: The Transaction
Referring Script: Invisible Girl, Heroine
Notes: This is an anime-style illustration of a scene in which Helga Kupler arranges to purchase four of Dr. Emil Strangeways’s experimental subjects — helpless inmates of the State Home for Wayward Girls — for her fiendish white slavery operation. The girls are imprisoned in tubes of fluid, safe for their long trip.
Artist: Lon Ryden

Presentation Post: Holiday weekend bonus 1: Promotional Poster
Referring Script: None — this is a general promotional poster.
Notes: A second promotional poster for the Tales of Gnosis College, here a representation of the events of the very first chapter of the Tales, in which a swimsuit-clad woman is dissolved in a tube. The swimsuit is more modesty than we usually see from a Gnosis heroine, but it is something that’s often prudent in advertising.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: April 8, 2012
Presentation Post: HHoliday weekend bonus 2: Another promotional poster
Referring Script: None — this is a general promotional poster.
Notes: Lon’s third promotion poster for the Tales, this one directly inspired by the original cover art for a Paul Fairman story called “The Girl Who Loved Death.” You can see the source illustration and read a brief discussion at the original presentation post.
Artist: Nic Buxom
Accession Date: April 30, 2012
Presentation Post: Chibi Maureen and Publication editions
Referring Script: Progress in Research
Notes: This is a chibi illustration of Maureen Creel done by webcomics creator and professional dominatrix Nic Buxom, an illustration of the lengths to which Maureen will go to gratify her insatiable curiosity about all the strange things that are going on at Gnosis College and in its environs.
Artist: Russkere
Accession Date: May 30, 2012
Presentation Post: Waiting for transformation
Referring Script: None. These are special-occasion illustrations.
Notes: These are a sequence of illustrations done by Russkere to illustrate the scene suggested in a 1940 New Yorker story by S.J. Perelman entitled “Captain Future, Block That Kick!” The text illustrated is as follows:
I guess I’m just an old mad scientist at bottom. Give me an underground laboratory, half a dozen atom-smashers, and a beautiful girl in a diaphanous veil waiting to be turned into a chimpanzee, and I care not who writes the nation’s laws.
Artist: Andy LaRoy
Accession Date: July 10, 2012
Presentation Post: Millie in Trouble! Andy’s Dames bespoke commission
Referring Script: None. This was a special-purpose commission.
Notes: This was a commission placed with impressive bondage artist Andy LaRoy. Millie is one of a rotating set of girls he illustrates, and in this illustration she has been placed in the role of a librarian who has opened the wrong book. The library is modeled after the Biblioteca Marucelliana in Florence (because we like to keep it classy here at Erotic Mad Science), and the Greek text of the title ΛΟΓΟΙ ΕΠΙΘΥΜΙΩΝ ΞΕΝΩΝ might be roughly translated as “Accounts of the Desires of the Aliens.”
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: February 24, 2012
Presentation Post: Study Abroad bonus: GirlScanner animation
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: This was an early animation done by Lon of a process first imagined for Study Abroad and subsequently used in Invisible Girl, Heroine. A naked young woman lies in a “scanner,” which takes information from her in such detail that it can later be run through a “printer,” creating her exact duplicate — a process which raises any number of interesting plot complications and personal identity issues.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: September 25, 2012 as a pendant illustration at Erotic Mad Science, but circa February 2012 as an “Easter Egg” illustration on a different site
Presentation Post: Invisible Girl, Heroine: Chapter Two, Page Twenty-Four
Referring Script: The Apsinthion Protocol
Notes: This was the very first animation done by Lon for me. It is a short illustration of the “Apsinthion Protocol” process at work, in which a girl is put through a mad-science process to reduce her to her “liquid essence.” (It is normally an orgasmic experience for the girl undergoing it.) The animation was used as an “Easter Egg” at a special-purpose site called “libertynotlicense.info” (the name that appears on a business card on the last page of the Tales of Gnosis College Volume II, Study Abroad. Eventually it was re-purposed as a pendant illustration here at Erotic Mad Science.

Presentation Post: Squick or Squee 2012 I: Gorgon’s Plaything
Referring Script: None, this was a one-off.
Notes: The first illustration from the 2012 Squick or Squee parade, this one done by Lon Ryden. Playing on an old A.S.F.R. theme, a gorgon is about to make bad use of a captive for her own pleasure.
Artist: Niceman
Accession Date: October 24, 2012
Presentation Post: Squick or Squee 2012 II
Referring Script: None, this was a one-off.
Notes: Niceman’s first Squick or Squee entry for 2012 played on the “something gone wrong in the lab” theme. A lady mad scientist’s creations turn on her, forcing her to seek refuge in a tube, becoming a tube girl of a rather unusual kind.
Artist: Dark Vanessa
Accession Date: October 25, 2012
Presentation Post: Squick or Squee 2012 III
Referring Script: None, this was a one-off.
Notes: Longtime Erotic Mad Science contributor Dark Vanessa did three entries for the 2012 Squick or Squee parade. In this first illustration, a girl bathing in benthic depths discovers either squick or squeeish there.
Artist: Dark Vanessa
Accession Date: October 26, 2012
Presentation Post: Squick or Squee 2012 IV
Referring Script: None. This was a one-off.
Notes: Dark Vanessa’s second 2012 Squick or Squee entry depicts a beautiful young witch showing off her ample charms under the glow of a great full moon.
Artist: Dark Vanessa
Accession Date: October 27, 2012
Presentation Post: Squick or Squee 2012 V
Referring Script: None. This was a one-off.
Notes: For her final Squick or Squee 2012 illustration, Vanessa went to a classic theme (for us mad science types, anyway), crazy tentacle sex. For Halloween she did it up in a fetching holiday color theme.
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: October 28, 2012
Presentation Post: Squick or Squee VI: Organic Sex Aid Trials
Referring Script: None. This was a one-off.
Notes: Prolific CG artist KristinF did two illustrations for the 2012 Squick or Squee parade. In the first of them, mad scientist Dr. Urulcheck and his assistant Bettina (who first appeared in Krstin’s Goo Girl Genesis sequence) have somehow created a massive sex beast, and have put a bunch of female volunteers into a tank to test its efficacy. The volunteers appear to be enjoying the experience.
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: October 29, 2012
Presentation Post: Squick or Squee 2012 VII: T’shaduk’s Guardians
Referring Script: None. This was a one-off.
Notes: Dr. Urulcheck and his assistant Bettina are back in Kristin’s second 2012 Squick or Squee illustration, this time on an Indiana Jones-style adventure that ends up going to a perhaps-predictable place.
Artist: Niceman
Accession Date: October 30, 2012
Presentation Post: Squick or Squee Bonus II: Niceman
Referring Script: None. This was a one-off.
Notes: Niceman came through with a bonus illustration for Squick or Squee, a complement to his original piece in that in this one something has gotten out of the tube, much to the dismay of both the mad scientists and their “research subjects.”
Artist: Andy LaRoy
Accession Date: October 30, 2012
Presentation Post: Squick or Squee 2012 VIII: New New Iris Art
Referring Script: Study Abroad
Notes: Andy LaRoy, famous for fetching bondage pics, here reworks a known theme of Iris Brockman in her ultimate, but strangely not-worrying-to-her, moment, but here done up in a complex form of shibari bondage.
Artist: Lucy Fidelis
Accession Date: October 31, 2012
Presentation Post: Squick or Squee 2012 IX: Happy Halloween!
Referring Script: None. This was a one-off.
Notes: Lucy Fidelis did her own Squick or Squee 2012 illustration, and this one has two comely witches who seem to have…encountered one another.
Artist: Digital Make
Accession Date: November 29, 2012
Presentation Post: Bespoke Art: Tiny Created Woman
Referring Script: None. This was a one-off.
Notes: This is the first contribution by Taiwanese artist Digital Make to the Erotic Mad Science collection of bespoke art. A mad scientist has created a tiny woman inside an Erlenmeyer flask and is inspecting his handiwork (which seems rather diffident about being so inspected!). Note the unusual level of detail on the mad scientist’s goggles, which was improvised by Digital Make himself.
Artist: Digital Make
Accession Date: November 30, 2012
Presentation Post: Bespoke Art: Tentacle Encounter
Referring Script: None. This was a one-off.
Notes: In his second commission for Erotic Mad Science, Digital Art created a bathing beauty who has encountered a tentacle…something while swimming in the ocean. She seems rather delighted at whatever it holds in prospect.
Artist: Digital Make
Accession Date: December 31, 2012
Presentation Post: Two New Apsinthion Protocol pieces by digitalmake
Referring Script: None. This was a one-off.
Notes: A paired set of commissions done by digitalmake, expected to be the first in a series. In this commissions, we have an “ecstatic woman” and a “distressed damsel” use of a similar concept, in this case the Apsinthion Protocol, a process through which a woman in a tube is dissolved (usually orgasmicly) into her “liquid essence,” from which she might (or might not) be reconstituted.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: June 20, 2013
Presentation Post: Where Am I? character design: Aphrodite Mora
Referring Script: Where Am I?
Notes: The character design for Aprhodite Mora, a junior professor of philosophy at Gnosis College. She might not be terribly senior within her discipline, but she is trendy and glamorous and expected to go far, in spite of the fact that many of her colleagues and students find her somewhat lacking in such old-fashioned intellectual virtues as clarity and rigor.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: June 21, 2013
Presentation Post: Where Am I? character design: Buck Yale
Referring Script: Where Am I?
Notes: Buck is a handsome and talented actor, and a real man about campus. Indeed, about multiple campuses, driven by an insatiable interest in sexual variety and a willingness to be truly adventurous with sex toys.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: June 22, 2013
Presentation Post: Where Am I? character design: Dolly Gibson
Referring Script: Where Am I?
Notes: Dolly is the girlfriend of Buck Yale, and in a way just as adventurous as he, though far more constant. Intellectually insecure, she looks up to (and sucks up to) Aphrodite Mora, a fact which will win her some academic enemies.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: June 23, 2013
Presentation Post: Where Am I? character design: Tanya Yip
Referring Script: Where Am I?
Notes: Tanya is a serious musician, a classically-trained singer with ambitions to o on professionally after Gnosis. She is assisted in this ambition by getting some rather unusual lessons in singing from the bohemian dance and music teacher Madam Anna.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: June 30, 2013
Presentation Post: Gnosis Dreamscapes: Chapter Six, Page Thirty-Five (and a bonus)
Referring Script: Gnosis Dreamscapes
Notes: Jireen is a fusion of two other women, Jill Keeney and Maureen Creel, created when, in an act of desperation, Aloysius Kim dissolved both with the Apsinthion Protocol and then mixed their liquid forms when he could not create enough of the necessary reconstituting matrix to regenerate them both. It seems like she came away with some of the best features of each!
Artist: Frans Mensink
Accession Date: July 24, 2013
Presentation Post: Bespoke art: Jireen Arises by Frans Mensink
Referring Script: Gnosis Dreamscapes
Notes: Netherlands artist Frans Mensink creates a remarkable mad science feel with this rendition of the moment of Jireen’s coming into being. She stands up out of the fluid out of which she has been constituted, to the great amazement of Willie and Aloysius.
Artist: Dark Vanessa
Accession Date: August 28, 2013
Presentation Post: Tanya Self-Pleasures
Referring Script: Where Am I?
Notes: A moment in Tanya’s character development, one which takes place not long after her curious “lesson” with Dr. Srinivas that helped her find her upper vocal register, an experience which is beginning to create curious erotic fantasies in Tanya’s fertile mind.
Artist: Niceman
Accession Date: October 25, 2013
Presentation Post: Squick or Squee week 2013 I: Gnosis Chemistry
Referring Script: None. This is a one-off illustration coceived by its creator.
Notes: Niceman’s 2013 Squick-or-Squee week entry imagined a chemistry experiment gone horribly…right? A student transporting a tray of uncovered chemicals (poor safety!) from one laboratory to another fails to notice the effects his work are having on a collection of comely students, who appear to be visiting from St. Mary Magdalane’s across the way.
Artist: KristinF
Accession Date: October 26, 2013
Presentation Post: Squick or Squee Week 2013 II: Cross-Species Breeding Program
Referring Script: None. This was a one-off conceived and executed by the artist for Squick–or-Squee Week 2013
Notes: Kristin went very tentacular with her entry for the 2013 Squick-or-Squee week with a lady mad scientist’s experiment involving a creature and her assistant. The experiment appears to be backfiring, though our scientist seems also to think that perhaps that’s not an entirely bad thing. Kristin identifies the scientist as her on-line avatar, by the way.
Artist: Lon Ryden
Accession Date: October 27, 2013
Presentation Post: Squick or Squee week 2013 III: Dr. Moorcoch’s Robot
Referring Script: None. This is a one-off conceived and exectued by the artist for Squick-or-Squee week 2013
Notes: For his Squick-or-Squee week entry in 2013 Lon came up with the abduction of the last fertile woman on earth by Dr. Moorcoch and his very phallic robot. We he wants her for shall be left to be imagination.
Artist: Frans Mensink
Accession Date: October 30, 2013
Presentation Post: Squick or Squee week 2013 VI: Bride of Frankenstein
Referring Script: None. This was a one-off for Squick or Suqee Week 2013 conceived and executed by the artist.
Notes: For his Squick or Squee week entry in 2013 Frans turned to an old and well-loved mad-science subject, the creation of the Bride of Frankenstein and made it positively electrifying.
Artist: Lucy Fidelis
Accession Date: March 30, 2014
Presentation Post: We Must Boost the Signal: Concept Art I
Referring Script: We Must Boost the Signal
Notes: This illustration shows a moment at around Page 4 of the script when the mysterious slime monster has wrapped its pseudopods around poor teenage cutie Amy Ninenger, dragging her down to a fate stranger than death. While distinctively Lucy’s style, I think it very much has a classic monster-movie feel to it.
Artist: Frans Mensink
Accession Date: March 31, 2014
Presentation Post: We Must Boost the Signal: Concept Art II
Referring Script: We Must Boost the Signal
Notes:Frans Mensink here provides a very complex and polished illustration of the scene occurring at about Page 22 of the script, in which she first encounters the mysterious brains in cylinders, and is about to learn the awful secret associated therewith.
